Former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association and Cincinnati-area coach who also enjoyed a successful real estate brokering and sports management career before his untimely passing in September of 2023. He is perhaps best known for his time playing as a power forward for the Boston Celtics, and for his lengthy international career, playing for teams such as Italy's Premiata Montegranaro and Germany's BBC Bayreuth.
Before Fame
Before graduating from Withrow High School in Cincinnati, he committed to the Ohio Bobcat's men's basketball team. He also played in the Mid-American Conference of the NCAA Division I. He went on to lead an immensely successful collegiate basketball career at Ohio University, where he was selected for the All-MAC First Team. He led his team in scoring and rebounding three years in a row.
Trivia
He was inducted into the Withrow High School Athletic Hall of Fame in the year 2017. He also broke the record as the best rebounder in Ohio University history, where he also ranked first in total free throws made.
Family Life
He passed away on September 12, 2023 after having collapsed while doing hot yoga. His mother-in-law Carolyn Clint told reporters that his family was shocked, as he had been in good shape and participated in hot yoga regularly. He left behind a wife named Mary and three children.
