Braden Schneider

About

Professional defenceman that was taken by the New York Rangers as a first-round pick in 2020. Prior to being drafted, he played for the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League. He also won a gold medal with Team Canada during the 2021 Ice Hockey World Championships. 

Before Fame

He initially joined the Prince Albert Raiders U15 AA team back in 2014. He was only 13 years old at the time.

Trivia

He made his official NHL debut while playing against the San Jose Sharks on January 13, 2022. That same night he scored his very first NHL goal, becoming the seventh defenceman in Rangers' franchise to score a goal during his debut.

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Prince Albert, Canada.
