Bob Lee

American business and tech executive known for being the founder of Cash App, a mobile money exchange platform. Prior to founding Cash App, he was the chief technology officer of Block, now known as Square, and also a chief product officer for a cryptocurrency called MobileCoin. He died after being attacked and stabbed on April 4th, 2023 in San Francisco. 

Before Fame

He went to high school in Miami, at Lindbergh High School. At Southeast Missouri State University, he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He worked at Google from 2004 until 2010, where he helped develop the operating system for Android.

Trivia

He earned the nickname "Crazy Bob" in high school for his high energy when playing water polo for his school.

Family Life

He has a brother named Tim. He and his wife Krista had a son and daughter together, but they ultimately separated.
