Former NFL quarterback that played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts, Green Bay Packers, and Atlanta Falcons during his eight-year career. He was originally taken as an 11th round pick in the 1984 NFL draft by Tampa Bay. He also played football professionally in the Canadian Football League, as well as the Arena Football League. 

Before Fame

Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Notre Dame. He eventually ended his collegiate football career with the sixth-most passing yards in Notre Dame's program history. 

Trivia

He finished his NFL career with just 1,296 passing yards along with a career average 75.4 passer rating. In addition to playing quarterback, he also logged snaps as a punter during his eight-year NFL career. 

Family Life

He grew up living with his parents in the Columbus, Indiana area. He is the father of two children.
