English comedian and actor who starred in a number of films throughout the 1970s including Robin and Marian in 1976 and Confessions from a Holiday Camp in 1977. His show, called Bill of Fare, aired every Sunday afternoon from 2pm-4pm from 2003 to 2008.

He started out as a variety performer and his first television appearance was on Henry Hall's Face the Music in 1953.

He has been a longtime fan of BriSCA Formula One stock car racing and once made a record called Stock Car Racing is Magic! broadcast at stock car meetings.
Family Life
He was married to Muriel Linnett from November 1949 to June 1983 and they had two children before he was married to Tonia Bern in 1989 up until his death in 2018.
