Journalist best known for his book The Family Law, which is a family memoir published in the year 2010. After the book's success, he created a television program called The Family Law that was loosely adapted from the memoir. The show was released in the year 2016. He was educated at Immanuel Lutheran College on the Sunshine Coast. He has a PhD in creative writing and cultural studies from the Queensland University of Technology.
