In June of the following year, he coined the term "Milkshake Duck," which would give rise to his eventual legendary status in the social media world. His full tweet read, "The whole internet loves Milkshake Duck, a lovely duck that drinks milkshakes! *5 seconds later* We regret to inform you the duck is racist." The term Milkshake Duck then came to refer to the fleeting adoration society will feel for a new public figure only to learn something unsavory about them shortly thereafter. The term went on to be officially recognized as one of the Australian dictionary's Words of the Year.
