Standup comedian and television performer who has starred on the Tyler Perry series Bruh, as well as Games People Play on BET. He has also performed on the Netflix original series Guide to Black History, which was created by Kevin Hart. He wrote, produced, and directed his debut stand-up comedy special, titled Chicago I'm Home in 2019 and performed his subsequent nationwide comedy tour to sold-out audiences all over the United States. Additionally, he has performed in feature-length films including Cheaper 2 Keep Her, Long Division, and Left on Red. In the year 2023, he was a semifinalist on the NBC reality talent competition series America's Got Talent.
Before Fame
He began his career with an unscheduled, improvised performance at a church event in his hometown of Chicago, IL. After receiving a standing ovation in response to his performance, he decided to shift his career focus to comedy and he began performing throughout Chicago at a variety of local comedy clubs before ultimately relocating to Los Angeles, CA.

Some of his earliest television performances include his comedy set on the Bill Bellamy series Who's Got Jokes on TV One and on BET's Coming to the Stage, alongside comedians like Tiffany Haddish and Lil Rel. Outside of comedy, he has also released two studio albums as a singer and songwriter, including "Dive In" and "Conquer Goliath."
Family Life
In December 2023, he posted a loving tribute to his late brother Lee on his barrybrewerjr Instagram account. He also has a son, who celebrated his 11th birthday on April 21, 2021.
