South Sudanese Australian model beloved for her distinctive look and powerful presence. Her passionate advocacy for causes such as LGBTQ+ rights, mental health awareness, and representation and diversity have also made her a pivotal figure in both the fashion industry and modern culture. She modeled the Fenty x Savage debut collection in 2018 and has also posed for major fashion brands including Vetements and Pyer Moss. She has also appeared on the covers of Porter, ES Magazine, and numerous international editions of Vogue.

Before Fame

She was born in the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya, where her family sought refuge from the Second Sudanese Civil War. She relocated to Australia with her family when they were granted asylum in 2006. At 18, she was scouted by an agent from Chadwick Models while working at a McDonald's in Sydney.

Trivia

In the year 2019, she was named on OkayAfrica's esteemed 100 Women list. She graduated from the University of New England in 2021, earning bachelor's degrees in both law and psychological sciences. In a 2020 interview with Vogue Magazine, she expressed the desire to establish a firm providing affordable legal services to queer people of color.

Family Life

She is the eldest of 12 children. She and nail-artist entrepreneur Alexus Ade married at New York City Hall in December 2019 and were featured on the cover of Elle Magazine together before divorcing in 2021.
