Before Fame

He attended and played college baseball at Louisiana State University. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins in 2012. He then signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners in 2018. 

Trivia

Before the 2020 trade deadline, the Mariners traded him to the Padres. He took the Padres to the Division League Series in 2020.  

Family Life

He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is Italian-American, and his great-grandparents emigrated from Sicily to Baton Rouge. He is married to a woman named Michelle. They have one child Vincent Nola.
