Tanzanian world music singer famous for his solo work as well as for being a member of Yamoto Band. His music is categorized as a mix between Tanzanian Bongo Flava and R&B. Popular songs of his include "Naenjoy," "Moyo Kiburi," "Nibebe" and "Ananikomoa." 

Before Fame

He released his debut single, "Nakusemea," as a teenager in 2011. 

Trivia

Yomato band was a short-lived project, forming in 2013 and disbanding in 2017. He has collaborated with several artists, including Q chief Khadija, Kopa, Rich Mavoko, and Gnako. He promotes his music career on his aslayisihaka Instagram page, which has amassed 5 million followers.
