About
Professional men's artistic gymnast and athlete who primarily competes in the men's team, vault rings, parallel bars, and all-around events. He is a member of the United States men's national team. He won bronze medals at the 2023 World Championships and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Before Fame
As a teenager, he was a three-time junior national champion. He later attended Stanford University.
Trivia
During his freshman season at Stanford, he won two gold medals during the 2023 NCAA Championships. The very next season, he won four more medals at the 2024 NCAA Championships. Hong competed at the NCAA Championships in mid-April. He contributed scores on pommel horse, rings, vault, and parallel bars to help Stanford win their fifth consecutive team title. Individually he won the title on the latter three apparatuses.
Family Life
Growing up, he lived with his family in Plano, Texas. He is one of three brothers.
