Arina Tanemura

Known primarily for her work in the shojo manga genre (Japanese cartoons targeted to an adolescent female audience), Tanemura became famous for her I.O.N. supernatural romance manga, as well as for her Time Stranger Kyoko; Full Moon Wo Sagashite; and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne series.

Before Fame

Her first manga was a single-edition work titled "The Style of the Second Love."

Trivia

Her popular Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne series focuses on a teenage girl named Maron Kusakabe who is a reincarnated Joan of Arc.

Family Life

She was born in Aichi, Japan.
