Antony Ressler

About

Co-founded the private equity firms Apollo Global Management and Ares Management. In April 2015, he became co-owner of the NBA's Atlanta Hawks.

Before Fame

He earned a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service as well as an MBA from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business.

Trivia

He agreed to become part-owner of the Hawks after the team recored the most wins in the NBA's Eastern Conference during the 2014-15 season.

Family Life

In 1987, he married actress Jami Gertz. He and Jami have three sons, Oliver, Nicholas and Theo. He has a sister named Debrah and a brother named Richard.

Associated With

He and former NBA star Grant Hill led the group that purchased the Hawks in 2015.
