Known best for his Grammy-nominated, self-titled debut album, this guitarist and songwriter went on to release several other acclaimed jazz recordings, including Goat Hill Junket, Power of Nine and Adult Themes.

Before Fame

He studied music composition at Bennington College in Vermont.

He recorded two Groove Note jazz albums with Mark Ferber and Joe Bagg: Our Gang and Savivity.

Family Life

He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. His father, Gerald Wilson, was an acclaimed bandleader and jazz trumpeter.
