Founder of the Chamber Symphony of Philadelphia, Brusilow has performed with many orchestras and symphonies, as well as having recorded albums for RCA Victor.
Before Fame
He began studying at Curtis Institute of Music at the age of eleven and at sixteen, he went on to be the youngest conducting student of Pierre Monteux's at the time.
Trivia
From 1973 to 1982 and then from 1989 to 2008, Brusilow worked as the Director of Orchestral Studies at the North Texas State University College of Music, later renamed University of North Texas College of Music.
