Before Fame

She studied graphic design at a 4-year university. After graduating, she worked as an in-house UI/UX designer in an office. She discovered Twitch while browsing online at work and started streaming in June of 2014. Within just 2 months, she received the offer to become a Twitch partner and she left her job to devote herself fulltime to streaming in June of the following year.

Trivia

In August 2023, she gifted her viewers the chance to "sabotage" her game in exchange for donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She ended up raising over $15,000 for the hospital within just 4 hours. Outside of live streaming, she has also dabbled in music and posted her original songs including "Bridges Set to Burn" and "Halfway Gone" on SoundCloud. 

Family Life

She has an older brother and sister. Her passion for gaming was sparked when she was just 7 years old, when her mother bought her and her siblings a Super Nintendo, their first gaming console. In 2015, following Supreme Court's ruling making same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states, she came out to her viewers in a detailed post explaining her sexuality. In 2020, she announced that she had been in a relationship with fellow gaming guru TopNotchFromage for over a year.

She was recognized by the Smart Girls organization, which was founded by comedienne Amy Poehler. In 2017, she joined fellow LGBTQ+ content creators including Adam Koebel and Dylan Zaner (popularly known as 8bitDylan) as a panelist on "The Gayest Panel at TwitchCon."
