Chinese actress best known for her roles in Full Contact, The Fatal Game and Ba wang nu fu xing. She formed a music group called Happy Young Girl Team with Charine Chan, Bonnie Law, and May Lo. Some of her final roles from 1993 include Shrinking Violet in Yesteryou, Yesterme, Yesterday and playing Cat in Tom, Dick and Hairy.
Before Fame
She attended Christ Church Kindergarten, the Diocesan Girls' School and the King George V School in Hong Kong. At age 13 she won an ice skating competition, and later went on to win the 1984 Singles competition and the Taiwan Pairs competition. She turned down an Oxford scholarship to pursue a career in entertainment, getting her debut role in I Do in 1985.
Trivia
In 1994 she retired from acting and studied medicine at the University of Hong Kong. She works as an occupational therapist and practices clinical psychology.
Family Life
She is Eurasian and is sometimes known as Paak On Lei. She was born in British colonial Hong Kong and is of mixed British, Chinese and Malay parentage. In 1994 she married a businessman from Vancouver. They divorced and she later remarried.
