Entrepreneur and public speaker with 3.5 million followers on his ankurwarikoo Instagram account. He and fellow ISB graduates have built several websites across automobiles, education, and finance, the biggest of which became Gaadi.com. He is the founding CEO of Groupon's India business. He is a public speaker, emphasizing the importance of awareness in decision-making. On his Instagram, he posts career and interpersonal advice, some comedy shorts, and storytelling videos. 

Before Fame

He grew up in relative poverty, though his parents always made sure he and his sister had a good education. In 2002 he attended a top US university for a Ph.D. program in Physics, on a full scholarship. He returned to India at 24 and attended the Indian School of Business (ISB) for 1 year.

His warikoo Twitter page has amassed 500,000 followers. He posts a thread every Friday with a thought-provoking prompt, and shares inspiring thoughts with his readers. In July of 2021, he posted a video to Instagram, speaking directly into the camera about how he was unemployed at age 29 and how he got to where he is now. The video has amassed over 270,000 likes. 

Family Life

He married his wife, Ruchi, when they were both 27. The two had known each other since the age of 20. His childhood nickname was Nandu. He has a sister.
