This Class of 2021 inductee into the Country Radio Hall of Fame is the assistant program director at Atlanta's WBUL, an iHeartMedia radio station. She can be heard on 60+ radio stations across the country and has 4,000 followers on Twitter and 10,000 on Instagram.

Before Fame

She was born in La Jolla, California but grew up on a horse farm in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Trivia

Her parents and sister Amanda own and operate Ward Stables, just north of Atlanta. Ward started off her radio career as a sportscaster at Auburn University, from which she received her degree in marketing and public relations.l

Family Life

Her father Marvin Ward is a member of the American_Saddlebred Horse Association of Georgia's Hall of Fame.

Associated With

She's a very active philanthropist and has raised money for many different causes, from breast cancer and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She also volunteered and helped bring into being the Victory Junction Gang Camp located in Randleman, North Carolina. The camp was started by NASCAR race driver Kyle Petty and his wife after the death of their son Adam Petty in an accident in 2000. The Camp serves terminally-ill children.
