Actress who made nearly 60 individual appearances on film and television series between 1980 and 2000. Some of her most recognized television performances were on popular shows such as Little House on the Prairie, Saved by the Bell, and Boy Meets World. She also performed in feature films such as Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and Man on the Moon. 

Before Fame

She was scouted while waiting in line at a local shopping center to see Santa Claus when she was a young child. By the time she was ten years old, she had already made numerous major commercial appearances. She went on to be a part of several nationally touring Broadway productions and earned her debut screen role in 1980 with a recurring role on Sesame Street. 

Trivia

She is a graduate of the University of Kansas, from which she earned a degree in musical theater. In addition to singing and acting, she is also a skilled dancer, and has appeared as a dancer in music videos for artists such as Paula Abdul and Aphex Twin.

Family Life

Her marriage to her first husband, Onofrio Mannino, ended after exactly one year in 1996. She later married Vincent Casale in 1998, with whom she has one son named Vincent Casale Jr. 

Associated With

Her favorite actor is Vincent D'Onofrio. She appeared alongside him, as well as actors Richard Belzer, Andre Braugher and Yaphet Kotto on a 1997 episode of the Emmy award-winning series Homicide: Life on the Street.
