Before Fame
She earned her bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics from Morehead State University in 2012, before obtaining a master's in physics from the University of Kentucky in 2017. She continued to attend the same institution to earn her PhD in physics just 2 years later. Since inaugurating her self-titled YouTube channel in August 2021, she has compiled a following of over 220,000 subscribers.
Trivia
Among her extensive list of accolades, she was awarded the 2017 HPC Conference Prize Winner at her university and became the recipient of the Huffaker Travel Scholarship in both 2016 and 2018. She was an Outstanding Postdoc Nominee at CU Boulder in the year 2020 and was also awarded the NSF Astronomy and Astrophysics Postdoctoral Fellowship the following year. Additionally, she was also named on the Numericana Hall of Fame.

She was born in Eastern Kentucky before later resettling in Boston, MA.
