British sound engineer and music producer best recognized for his work with psychedelic rock band Pink Floyd. He was the band's primary sound engineer from 1987 onwards. He was also the owner and operator of Tube Mastering, a recording studio, until shutting down the company in 2022. He tried his own hand at music performance as a guitarist in The Eden House as well as with two solo albums between 2014 and 2015.

Before Fame

He trained in recording engineering at Utopia Studios and began working with Pink Floyd in 1980.

Trivia

He is a three-time Grammy nominated artist for Best Sound Engineering for Pink Floyd's A Momentary Lapse of Reason in 1988, The Division Bell in 1995, and again for a remastering of The Division Bell in 2014. He has remastered the majority of the band's albums alongside sound engineer Damon Iddins.
