Before Fame
He started his professional performing career as a teenager working a summer in a circus. By the time he was 19 he was performing in resorts and cruise ships, including Norwegian Cruise Line, Majesty Cruise Lines and Carnival Cruise Lines.
Trivia
In 2019, he starred in the Discovery Channel Shark Week special Andrew Mayne: Ghost Diver where he swam alongside great white sharks using an underwater stealth suit he designed. He is also the host of the Weird Things podcast. He posts updates about his books, photos from his daily life, AI news and more on his andrewmayne Instagram page.
