Lead vocalist for the Australian punk rock and pub rock band Amyl and the Sniffers, which has earned honors including an AIR Award and numerous ARIA Awards. In 2019, she was ranked at #9 on Happy Mag's list of "15 Australian Female Artists Changing the Game Right Now." She and her band have been praised for their self-titled 2019 album as well as "Comfort to Me," which was released in 2021 and reached the #2 spot on Australian music charts.  

Before Fame

She grew up in Mullumbimby before earning an apprenticeship at a chemical company and studying music business at her community Technical and Further Education (TAFE). After meeting her bandmates, they penned their first songs in 2016 and got their start playing house parties and the stage at the Fitzroy Band Room Yah Yah's.

Trivia

In the year 2019, she walked the runway for Gucci at the Autumn/Winter show at Milan Fashion Week, after having been flown to Sicily to be a part of the brand's campaign. In 2020, she won Best Musician after the Music Victoria Awards changed its rules to allow singers of bands to compete for the title. 

Family Life

In November 2022, she became engaged to Melbourne-based filmmaker John Angus Stewart. Her mother worked at a post office before going on to practice psychology and her father worked as a crane driver and factory worker. She has an older sister named Grace.

She has performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers. On the European leg of her Hella Mega Tour in the summer of 2022, she opened for the Foo FightersWeezer, and Fall Out Boy.
