Prior to being abducted, she had received a phone call in which her anonymous future killer had asked her to meet him at a Cleveland-area shopping center so that he could help her buy her mother a gift.

Cleveland newspaper reporter James Renner investigated Mihaljevic's murder case and concluded that a teacher named Dean Runkle should be viewed as a prime suspect.

Family Life

She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and she later moved to a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.
