About
Indian sprinter who specializes in the 400 meters and the 800 meters. In 2017 he was part of India's gold medal-winning 4×400 meters relay team at the Asian Athletics Championships. It was India's first gold at the event since Seoul 1975. He competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the Men's 4x400 meter relay event where the Indian team broke the Asian and National Records. In 2021 he won the gold medal in the 400 meters event at the Federation Cup Senior Athletics Championships.
Before Fame
He attended Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College. At the 2016 Asian Junior Championships in Ho Chi Minh City, he took gold in the 800 meter race and silver in the 4x400 meter relay.
Trivia
He and his team competed in the 2017 Athletics World Championships with the sixth best timing in the world.
