Actress most famous for playing the young Maggie Banning in the 1991 Steven Spielberg-directed Peter Pan adaptation Hook, which was released when she was seven years old. She and the other child actors in Hook's cast received the Young Artist Award for Outstanding Young Ensemble Cast in a Motion Picture.
Before Fame
After appearing in Hook, she did not accept another credit acting role until 1995, when she did voiceover work for the documentary series American Experience. She eventually graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where she was a member of the Delta Psi Epsilon sorority.
Trivia
She performed the Oscar-nominated song "When You're Alone" from the Hook soundtrack at the 64th Academy Awards.
