Amanda Louise Staveley

Entrepreneur best known for her association with Middle Eastern investors. She owns the firm PCP Capital Partners, which has represented members of the Abu Dhabi royal family in investment deals, including Sheikh Mansour Bin-zayed Al-nahyan's purchase of Manchester City F.C. in September 2008. She also assisted in the takeover of Newcastle United FC for Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth and Public Investment Fund.

Before Fame

She briefly studied at St. Catharine's College in Cambridge but dropped out due to stress following the death of her grandfather. Her first venture as an entrepreneur was her 1996 purchase of the Bottisham restaurant Stocks, where she became associated with high-tech business owners and members of the esteemed thoroughbred racing community.

Trivia

After closing her restaurant in 2000, she opened Q.ton, a conference center and facility worth over 10 million pounds. One of her investors was rumored to include King Abdullah II of Jordan.

Family Life

She is the daughter of Lynne and Robert Staveley. In October 2011, she married Mehrdad Ghodoussi in Buckinghamshire, England.
