Amanda Sorensen

About

Race car driver best known for racing for GMC and Chip Ganassi Racing. In 2023, it was confirmed she was a season three driver for no99 GMC HUMMER EV. She is also known as one of two women in Formula Drift's core of drivers.

Before Fame

She made her BMX racing debut at the age of six. She graduated high school in 2019. She began attending Utah Valley University. 

Trivia

In 2019, she and her brother moved up to Formula Drift Pro2. They have been sponsored by the United States Air Force since 2022. Her amanda.sorensen12 Instagram account has gained 1.7 million followers and features career highlights. In August 2023, she posted a partnership with Pedal Commander and offered her followers a discount.

Family Life

Her younger brothers Branden and Camren Sorensen are also race car drivers. She and her brother Branden make up the racing team called Sorensen Motorsports. She is the daughter of Laura Sorensen.
