When she was just 16 years old, she relocated to Barcelona, Spain, to pursue her education. Originally hoping simply to make extra pocket money to fund her wanderlust, she began modeling on the weekends. She went on to spend 2 years modeling throughout Tokyo, Milan, New York, and Sydney before settling in Paris. After responding to an open casting call for the Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer Collection in 2002, she quickly integrated into virtually every step of each subsequent collection's evolution - from production and workshop adjustments to its grand catwalk debut.
