English artist and author and retired crochet designer who has published five books on the art of crocheting. She also ran her own independent natural hand dyeing company, The Natural Dye Studio, from 2000 to 2015, and many of her most well-known crochet patterns are based on her own unique yarn.
Before Fame
She studied general art and design at art college after leaving school in 1981.
Trivia
She retired from crochet designing in 2021 and focused on art and drawing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she began a project of drawing every building in her hometown of North Devon, England.

She has three children and one grandson.
