Drag performer as well as dance teacher who gained fame on the 5th season of RuPaul's Drag Race. She joined RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars in 2016 and went on to star in her own Netflix docu-series Dancing Queen in 2018. 

Before Fame

She was a drag competitor during the 2000s, with her first success coming in Miss Gay Texas in 2003-2004 when she placed as the first alternate.

Trivia

She was dethroned from her title of Miss Gay America in 2010.

She is from Mesquite, Texas and her real name is Justin Johnson. Her mother was Sherrie Johnson.

Her stage name of Alyssa Edwards is an homage to Alyssa Milano and the drag family House of Edwards.
