Choreographer and former dancer known on Instagram at her alladukhovaofficial account that has amassed over 370,000 followers. She is famous for founding both a new dance movement called Todes and herself as director of a contemporary ballet company of the same name. Todes is a type of dance that combines both traditional ballet movements with modern break-dance styles. 

Before Fame

Dancing since the age of 11, she later enjoyed bringing together different styles and technical groups of distinct, technical dancers. She was 19 when she started structuring performances of ballerinas from her hometown in Latvia and male break-dancers from St. Petersburg (at that time known as Leningrad). This was during the time of the USSR, when Latvia was also part of what we now know as Russia. This is how Todes Ballet was created. She had to leave dancing full time after sustaining an injury and she began working as a choreographer full time. 

Trivia

Her troupe began dancing in 1987 and has toured internationally throughout it's long history. In Russian, Todes means death. The movement is named after the death spiral move that figure skaters perform that does resemble such a mashup of styles.

Family Life

While she was born in the area of the USSR that is now known as Perm, Russia, she was raised primarily in Riga, Latvia. She has been married three times and has two sons. She displayed her sons and one of her granddaughters in a post to her Instagram on Sept 2021.
