He has become known for his contemporary style and original stance on modern "lad" culture, which earned recognition with comedy specials like "Best Friend Ever" and "The Afters." He has sold out countless venues in Waterloo, Kings Cross, Covent Garden, and countless other forums throughout England.

He began sharing his original skits and comedic content on his aliwoodsgigs Instagram account in November 2017 and has gone on to acquire over 310,000 followers. His videos have since showcased by famed media outlets including Ladbible and Buzzfeed UK, and he has earned features on Comedy Central Live and Stand Up Sketch Show.

Trivia

He was named New Act of the Year by Hackney Empire in 2020 and was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award in both 2017 and 2018. He has also earned honors such as being named runner-up for New Comedian of the Year Awards in Leicester Square in the year 2017 and South East in 2019.

Family Life

His birth name is Alister Heywood. He posted a photo of himself and his father at an FA Cup soccer match at Wembley Stadium on his Instagram account in April 2024.
