Alfredo Adame

Actor, producer, and television personality best known for starring in telenovelas such as Timeless Love, In the Name of Love, Double Life, and many more. He has amassed significant renown as a TV presenter, hosting shows such as ¡Ay, amor!, Long Live the Morning, and Today, which is Mexico's longest-running and most-watched morning program. He has also appeared in stage productions such as Infidelities and Celia the Musical.

Before Fame

After completing training in commercial aviation, he was employed with Aeromexico for ten years, working as both a cabin manager and a private flight attendant. He launched his career in the entertainment industry by modeling in commercials before making his professional acting debut in the 1987 film Escape to Destiny. 

Trivia

He won Best Presenter from the 2007 Bravo Awards for hosting the variety show Long Live the Morning. He has also been nominated in the Best Actor category by the TV y Novela Awards and the El Heraldo de México Awards.

Family Life

His father is Mexican, and his mother is German. He has a daughter named Vanessa, his eldest child, from a past relationship with former partner María Luisa Castillo. He was briefly married to Colombian actress Diana Golden in the late 1990s before they divorced and he married Mary Paz Banquells. He had three sons with Mary Paz named Alejandro, Sebastián, and Diego. His marriage to Mary Paz came to an end after 25 years and the couple officially divorced in 2017.

One of his earliest recurring roles in a telenovela was on the 1989 series Balada Por un Amor, where he played Gustavo Elenes, opposite co-stars Claudio Brook and Daniela Romo.
