Screen actor most famously known for his role as Finn Shelby on the multi award-winning drama series Peaky Blinders. In addition to portraying this role over the course of its first season, he has also appeared on an episode of the long-running, BAFTA Award-nominated crime documentary series Crimewatch UK in the year 2013.
Before Fame
He made his professional acting debut portraying the role of Cody Waterson on several episodes of the long-established medical drama series Doctors in 2013. He attended Perton First School before his talent for performing was discovered and he transitioned to an institution that specialized in the dramatic arts. While enrolled in the Pauline Quirke Academy at Aldersley High School, it was his principal who went on to arrange his audition for Peaky Blinders.
Trivia
Although he did not initially show an interest in acting, his performance as the lead role in a production of Ant & Dec when he was just 9 years old led others to take notice of his talent and encourage him to pursue the dramatic arts. He was required to take a 3-month break from school in order to film Peaky Blinders on location in Liverpool, Leeds, and at the historic Black Country Living Museum in Dudley.
Family Life
His mother Sadie went on leave from her position at Lloyds Bank in Wolverhampton to chaperone him during the filming of Peaky Blinders.
