She graduated from Wesleyan University with a double major in film studies and psychology. She originally started out wanting to be a director.

She once owned and designed an indie clothing label called Anouk. She worked as a script supervisor on TV commercials.

Family Life

She was born and raised in Moscow. Her parents relocated first to Italy and then to New York City after she finished high school. She is married to Miguel Sapochnik, English director and producer who has helmed multiple episodes of Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon.

One of her first acting roles was in The Invasion, starring Nicole Kidman, Jeffrey Wright, and Daniel Craig. She also starred in Miss March, with Molly Stanton and Trevor Moore.
