Singer and bassist best known as the frontman for rock titans The Black Angels. Formed in 2004, the band has released albums including Directions to See a Ghost, Phosphene Dream and Wilderness of Mirrors. He is also a solo artist with tracks including "Been Struggling," "500 Dreams," "Special" and "Slip Into."
Before Fame
When he was a child, his parents ran a plant nursery and he was inspired by the sounds of trickling waterfalls, birdcalls, chirruping insects and wind rustling leaves. The repetitious sounds drew him to house and trance music.
