Self-taught acoustic guitarist, singer, and social media star whose GuitarTutorMan YouTube channel has amassed more than 490,000 subscribers. He built his following with tutorial videos aimed to teach others how to play and sing along to classic and fan-favorite songs. He has shared tutorial and performance videos of titles like "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen and Jeff Buckley, "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz, "The Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel, and countless others, many of which have received millions of views each. 

Before Fame

He is a former IT lecturer and martial arts instructor. The motivation to launch his channel was sparked out of his passion for music and the acoustic guitar. His first video, uploaded on the date of November 1, 2010, featured his rendition of the song "Blackbird" by The Beatles. 

Trivia

Outside of his career as a YouTuber, he has also regularly performed with the Gwent-based cover band known as The Gas Trick Band. The band rose to local celebrity status beginning in the early 2000s and has performed at special events, weddings, and other gigs throughout and around South Wales with a set list of titles by artists including David Bowie, Queen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Billy Joel, and many more.
