American guitarist who was inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 1997. As a highly sought-after session player, he has collaborated with noteworthy artists such as Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Dwight Yoakam, and John Denver. He released his first solo album, Triple Play, in 2003.

He served in the Army National Guard before launching his music career.
