Seasoned actor and filmmaker who shot to stardom with roles such as Resistance Bridge Officer in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Fred Gray on Doctor Who. He wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the 2016 short Spilt and the 2019 feature Real. He has also portrayed roles such as Charlie Reid on Father Brown and Professor Gabriel Folukoya on Silent Witness

Before Fame

Growing up, he played football for Havant and Waterlooville Football Club and had hopes of becoming a professional athlete. However, when he earned a spot in the football play Zigger Zagger at the Hampshire Youth Theatre, he fell in love with acting. He was subsequently offered a scholarship to attend the Arts Education School. He commenced his acting career in stage productions of shows such as Hairspray the Musical and West Side Story.

Trivia

In 2020, he won the Rising Star Award from the Screen Nation Awards. His short film Spilt was also nominated for awards from the British Urban Film Festival and The Groucho Film Festival following its 2016 release.

Family Life

He was born in Nigeria and at 18 months old, he was taken in and raised in London by foster mother Ann Clifford, whom he refers to as "Nan." He also lived with his brother, Bummi. He was briefly involved in a highly publicized love triangle with Kids in Love co-star Cara Delevingne and Harry Styles in 2013.
