Accomplished actor and filmmaker who rose to fame for his starring roles on series such as Doctors and Leonardo. He notably wrote, produced, and starred in the award-winning sketch comedy series Famalam from 2018 to 2020. He also created, wrote, produced, and starred in the comedy thriller series Black Ops and the dramedy Dreaming Whilst Black. He has also guest starred on shows including Shrill, Breeders, and The Queen's Gambit.
Before Fame
He made his acting debut in the 2002 TV movie Out of Control. Over the next 2 years, he would earn his first recurring television roles as Aiden Crouch on The Crouches and later as Nathan Bailey on the long-running soap Doctors. He later guest starred on series such as Casualty and Law & Order: UK; however, one of his most recognized roles came in 2011, as Machiavelli on the series Leonardo.
Trivia
He won a BAFTA TV Craft Breakthrough Talent Award in 2019 for his performance on the hit BBC comedy series Famalam. In 2021, he also won a Rockie Award from the BANFF World Media Festival for writing and producing the series.
