She attended Angeles University Foundation, where she studied mass communication. She also worked as a flight attendant with Cebu Pacific for over 2 years. She began participating in cycling competitions when she was 16 years old and went on to earn numerous titles, including Pilipinas Duathlon champion and Bike King Duathlon Champion, in both 2018 and 2019.

She earned rapid fame for her January of 2020 "Introduce Yourself" video which featured her own original lyrics to the song "The Show" by Lenka. She had filmed the video 2 years prior for a college assignment in which her professor had asked her to introduce herself in a unique way. The video quickly went viral, earning more than 10 million views within only 6 months of being posted.

Her full name is Aira Lourdes Aquino Lopez. Her father, who goes by the nickname "Papa Louie," is also an avid cycler and the person who introduced her to the sport. Her 2 sisters Alyssa and Alou also became flight attendants with Cebu Pacific. She has a 3rd sister named Angela.
