About
Professional soccer player known as the goalkeeper for the National Women's Soccer League's Kansas City Current and the U.S. women's national soccer team. She became the first player to ever win the NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year award twice in 2018. In addition to the Current, she has also played for the Western New York Flash, Avaldsnes Idrettslag, and the Portland Thorns.
Before Fame
After graduating from Oklahoma State University, she became one of the most venerated athletes in Big 12 Conference and OSU soccer history. Among the many honors she received throughout her collegiate career, she is a two-time All-American as well as a two-time MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist. She became only the seventh player in Big 12 history to achieve All-Big 12 First Team distinction during every one of her four seasons with OSU.
Trivia
She was named the CONCACAF Goalkeeper of the Year in 2017 and the NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year in 2017 and 2018. She helped her respective teams earn victories such as the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, a 2020 Olympic Bronze Medal, the 2020 and the 2023 SheBelieves Cup, and the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup.

She was raised by her mother in Salinas, Kansas. She has two siblings. She married her wife Emily Boscacci in December 2019.
