Before Fame

He initially pursued a career in Biotechnology. However, at the young age of 18, he decided to start over with only a backpack and travel throughout all of Europe. During that time, he visited over 35 different countries within only nine months, by offering services to locals willing to open their home to him for a night. He went on to earn a double degree in both political science and philosophy from the world-renowned University of Paris 1 Panthèon-Sorbonne and Columbia University. 

Trivia

While studying at Columbia University, he became the first foreign citizen to speak publicly at the Panthèon in Paris, France, when he reached the finals of the French-speaking Elopquence International Competition. He did this after having learned the French language in only 4 months. He was the only participant at the tournament to give his speech entirely from memory and without notes of any kind.
