Musician most beloved for having served as the lead singer, the guitarist, and the primary songwriter for the band Big Thief. She is particularly well-known for albums like "Hours were the Birds," "Abysskiss," and "Songs," and "Instrumentals."  

Before Fame

She began composing her own songs when she was just 8 years old. She even recorded her first album at the young age of 13. After earning her GED at the age of 16, she enrolled in Berklee College of Music.

Trivia

She received the opportunity to attend such a prestigious institution by way of a scholarship granted to her by Tedeschi Trucks Band. Her music video for her song "Anything," which was posted on YouTube, is one of her most viewed, having garnered more than 605,000 views in total.

Family Life

She married at the age of 24, to Big Thief co-founder Buck Meet. The marriage only lasted until 2018, however, and she remarried to Indigo Sparke. Their marriage lasted only one year, and they divorced in 2020. 

Associated With

 The benefactor of her Berklee College of Music scholarship required a rapid replacement after she originally, tragically, underwent particular difficulties. That benefactor was the legendary pop Blues/R&B singer Susan Tedesch.
