About
Formally known as Prince Mateen of Brunei, he is the tenth child of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and his second wife Mariam. He is the fourth son of his father. He has accumulated over 3.1 million followers on Instagram as a result of his royal fame.
Before Fame
His mother was a flight attendant for Royal Brunei Airlines when his parents married. They divorced, however, in 2003.
Trivia
In 2010, he was admitted to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst where he graduated a year later. He is the founder of Jab Boxing Gym.

He has three full siblings through his mother and eight half-siblings through his father's other wives.
