Former Canadian NHL player who spent his career playing for the Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers, and Anaheim Ducks. He served two consecutive years as Team President of the NHL Players Association for the Rangers as well as one year for the Ducks. He was an eighth round draft pick by the New Jersey Devils in the 2011 NHL draft.
Before Fame
He received a full athletic hockey scholarship to the University of Alaska at Fairbanks and was named to the CCHA All-Rookie team during his freshman year. He made his NHL debut with the Wild in 2007, and went on to score seven goals and seven assists in 55 games during his rookie season.
Trivia
He was nominated as the Wild's 2008 Bill Masterton Trophy candidate by the Twin Cities chapter of the Professional Hockey Writer's Association. Also an entrepreneur, he is the owner of Tiny's and The Bar Upstairs. He became partner for All Points North, a mental health and physical wellness service.

He was born in Vancouver and raised in Surrey, British Columbia. He is of Hungarian descent.
