He has cited an array of influences ranging from The Beach Boys' Brian Wilson to famed animator Walt Disney.

Trivia

As a touring member of Crimson Glory during their "Transcendence" tour, he became notorious for wearing a striped sleeping gown on stage, complete with a night cap.

Family Life

His father, Richard Bowen, was a member of the 60's band Mother Goose.

He once had a chance encounter with Buckethead after he was sent the reclusive guitar virtuoso's apartment as a maintenance man.
